Worship
Summer Sunday Worship: We’re holding one Sunday service at 9:30am (in person and livestreamed) through August 31.
Today’s Worship (June 22): We celebrate the Baptism of Althea Alana Hein during worship. Communion is not served today.
Gather and Celebrate
Good Shepherd Men’s Group: Meets Sundays at 6:30pm.
Bunco Night: Friday, July 18 at 6:00pm in the Choir Room. Bring a $5 wrapped gift (theme: “Summer”). Ages 18 and up. Contact Judy Christopherson at (608) 788-4335 or (608) 769-9656.
Rummage Sale: Good Shepherd WELCA’s annual sale is Saturday, July 19 (9am–2pm) in the Mattes Center. Table rental: $10 (you keep all profits). Set-up: Friday, 12–5pm and Saturday, 8–9am. Lunch available: Hot beef sandwich, chips, dessert & drink for $7. Sign-up forms are in the church office.
Burrito Breakfast: The breakfast team is taking a summer break and will return September 7.
Small Groups and Support
Quilting Group: Meets the 2nd & 4th Mondays, 9am–3pm in the Quilting Room. Drop in anytime you’re available. Next gathering: June 23.
Cancer Support Group: For patients and caregivers. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5pm in the Mattes Center. Next meeting: July 15. Call Janette at (608) 775-1197 for details.
Lydia Circle: On summer break. Next meeting: September 2. Questions? Call LeeAnn Lyden at (608) 788-7651.
Good Shepherd Women (WELCA): Welcomes all women of the church. Next meeting: Thursday, July 3 at 6pm, both in person and via Zoom.
Grief Support Group: On summer break. Meets 2nd & 4th Thursdays at 3pm starting again in September. Contact the church office for more information.
Game Night: For all ages — taking a break during the summer; will resume in September. Questions? Contact Randy at via email.
Get Involved and Support
General Fund: Support the ministry of Good Shepherd through online or in-person donations. Give online now.
Food For Schools Project: Help stock local school food banks. Checks can be made out to Good Shepherd with “Food For Schools Project” in the memo line.
Good Shepherd Trust Foundation: Mission-aligned funding available for members and causes. Submit applications by June 30. Forms at gslacrosse.org/trust-committee or in the church office.
Hospital Visits: If you are hospitalized and would like a visit, please contact the church office. Hospitals no longer share patient info unless asked directly.
Job Opportunity
