Gloria Dei Choir – Growing in Faith Through Song

The Gloria Dei Choir at Good Shepherd offers children in grades 2 through 5 a joyful and engaging opportunity to grow in faith through music. Meeting weekly from 9:45 to 10:15am on Sundays in the Mattes Center (September through May), the choir provides a nurturing space where young voices learn to sing songs of faith and develop a love for worship.

Creating Lasting Bonds

In addition to learning musical skills, Gloria Dei Choir helps children form lasting bonds with one another. Through singing, they experience teamwork, build confidence, and take part in the rich musical life of the church. The songs they sing are age-appropriate, meaningful, and rooted in the message of God’s love and grace.

Choir Cadence

The choir sings in Sunday morning worship once a month, allowing young participants to share their gifts with the congregation and experience the joy of leading in worship.
