Lutheran Campus Ministry

Welcoming College Students

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church warmly invites all college students—whether you’re attending UW La Crosse, Viterbo University, Western Technical College, or any local institution—to connect with both its multi-generational congregation and the dedicated Lutheran Campus Ministry (LuMin) of La Crosse. LuMin serves as a student-led, faith-based organization that partners with congregations across the La Crosse Area Synod to enrich students’ spiritual journeys. It’s supported by congregational gifts, synod donations, and individuals who hold campus ministry close to their hearts  .

Worship Opportunities

Good Shepherd offers a vibrant worship life tailored to students and community members alike. From September through May, Sunday services are held at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., transitioning into 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. during the summer (June–August). These gatherings provide meaningful liturgy, prayer, and fellowship. Additional faith formation, such as Bible studies and intergenerational learning, fills the week—offering consistent opportunities to deepen your relationship with God and others .

What Lutheran Campus Ministry (LuMin) Offers

LuMin is the officially recognized campus ministry serving UW–La Crosse and other nearby colleges. Whether you’re exploring questions of faith, seeking community, or wanting to serve, LuMin offers a welcoming setting.
