Sounds of Praise Worship Band

Good Shepherd’s Uplifting Worship Band

If you’re looking to be part of a joyful, Spirit-filled music ministry, Sounds of Praise may be the perfect fit. This dynamic group of musicians brings energy, warmth, and creativity to worship, blending a wide range of instruments and experience levels to create truly inspiring music.

Whether you’re just learning an instrument or have years of experience, there’s a place for you here. Our music director, Randy Lyden, is committed to including all who feel called to make music—he’ll even write a part just for you if you can play a few notes. In Sounds of Praise, fellowship is just as important as the music, and God’s Spirit is clearly at work through both.

An Eclectic Sound

This group offers a rich musical experience with a unique blend of instruments including piano, acoustic and bass guitars, violin, percussion, saxophone, flute, trumpet, and more. From meditative melodies to joyful rhythms, Sounds of Praise leads worship with an eclectic sound that engages and uplifts the whole congregation.

Practice Schedule

  • Rehearsals: Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary (September–May)

  • Summer Schedule: Practices continue, but with a more flexible schedule
