Worship Schedule
Sunday, September 6
9:30 am: Single Worship Service with Holy Communion. Pastor Harald Bringsjord preaching. Music led by Randy Lyden, Karl Greenfield, and Dave Osley.
Readings: Ezekiel 33:7-11, Psalm 119:33-40, Romans 13:8-14, Matthew 18:15-20.
Rally Sunday (September 13)
8:30 am & 10:30 am: Return to normal service times (8:30 am Livestream).
8:30 am Service: Sunday School kick-off with an inflatable obstacle course, games, and activities.
Leadership & Music: Pastor Harald Bringsjord preaching; music led by Randy Lyden, Karl Greenfield, and Dave Osley.
Readings: Genesis 50:15-21, Psalm 103:8-13, Romans 14:1-12, Matthew 18:21-35.
Note: Communion will not be served.

Burrito Breakfast: Sunday, September 13, starting at 9:30 am (between services) in the Mattes Center. Enjoy burritos with all the fixings for a free-will offering, served while supplies last.
Family Game Night: Friday, September 11, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the Mattes Center. Board and card games for all ages.
Bunco Night: Friday, September 18, 6:00 pm in the Mattes Center. Open to ages 18+. Bring a $5 wrapped "Fall" themed gift for a night of games and laughter.
Adult Reading Group: Wednesday, October 7, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Discussion on Prayer in the Night by Tish Harrison Warren. Contact the church office for details.

Men's Group: Sundays at 6:30 pm in the Mattes Center.

Dementia Support Group & Hillview Communion: Tuesday, September 8, at 1:15 pm (Communion at 1:45 pm).
Cancer Support Group: Tuesday, September 15, at 5:00 pm in the Mattes Center. Offers a safe, confidential space for patients and caregivers.
Women’s Ministries:
WELCA: Thursday, October 1, at 6:00 pm in the Quilting Room or via Zoom (contact office for link).
Lydia Circle: Tuesday, October 6, at 1:00 pm in the Quilt Room. All women are welcome for coffee, conversation, and desserts.
Service & Outreach:
LWR Quilting: Monday, September 14, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm in the Quilting Room. (Meets 2nd & 4th Mondays).
LWR Kit Collections: Help gather items for School and Personal Care Kits. Lists available on the Stewardship table; monetary donations welcome.
Financial Stewardship: Support the General Fund or this month’s featured fund, the Food For Schools Project, which helps stock area school food banks.

Meet the Pastoral Candidate: Friday, September 25, at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. Join us for a Meet & Greet with the candidate recommended by the Call Committee prior to Sunday's vote.
Official Notice: Special Congregational Meeting
Date & Time: Sunday, September 27, 2026, at ~10:30 am (immediately following a single 9:30 am worship service).
Purpose: To vote on extending a formal Call to a candidate for Senior Pastor. Per Lutheran policy, voting must take place in person by confirmed voting members.
