Worship

• This Sunday (October 5) — We worship on the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost with readings from Habakkuk 1:1–4; 2:1–4; Psalm 37:1–9; 2 Timothy 1:1–14; and Luke 17:5–10. Communion will be served at both services.

• Next Sunday (October 12) — We worship on the Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost with readings from 2 Kings 5:1–3, 7–15c; Psalm 111; 2 Timothy 2:8–15; and Luke 17:11–19. Communion will not be served at either service.

Gather & Celebrate

• Burrito Breakfast — this Sunday!
  Sunday, October 5, between services in the Mattes Center. Enjoy delicious breakfast burritos with all the fixings. A free-will offering will be collected.

• Good Shepherd Men’s Group — Sundays at 6:30 pm in the Mattes Center. All men are welcome!

• Family Game Night — Friday, October 10, 6:00–9:00 pm in the Mattes Center. Join us for board games, card games, and fun for all ages!

• Bunco Night — Friday, October 17, 6:00 pm in the Mattes Center. Bring a $5 wrapped “Halloween”-themed gift. Ages 18+.

• Annual WELCA Holiday Marketplace — Saturday, November 15, 9:00 am–2:00 pm
  Featuring 23 vendors, 35 tables, a pulled pork lunch for $7, and Norwegian lefse for sale! Bakers Needed: Please consider donating baked goods for the sale. Sign up on the church bulletin board and drop off donations on Nov. 13–14 (Noon–5 pm).

• World Hunger Appeal — Sunday, October 12
  We will collect donations for ELCA World Hunger relief. Bring a gift to support this vital mission. Children can bring coins to give during Children’s Time with our Plinko coin collector.

Small Groups & Support

• Quilting for LWR — Monday, October 13, 9:00 am–3:00 pm in the quilting room. Come for all or part of the day. Quilt at church or from home!

• Lydia Circle — Tuesday, October 7, 1:00 pm in the Quilt Room. All women are welcome for coffee, dessert, and conversation.

• Grief Support Group — Thursday, October 9, 3:00 pm. Meets monthly on the second Thursday to share and find comfort together.

• Cancer Support Group — Tuesday, October 21, 5:00 pm in the Mattes Center. A safe and supportive space for patients and caregivers.

Get Involved & Support

• Serve During Worship — Sign up to serve as a reader or usher at gslacrosse.org/participate or on the sheet in the Welcome Area.

• General Fund — Support Good Shepherd’s mission and ministry through in-person or online giving.

• Food For Schools Project — Help stock local school food pantries. Write “Food For Schools” in the memo line of your check or give online.

• Faith Webs Ministry — Build meaningful intergenerational connections while supporting youth attending camps, mission trips, or faith events. Email faithwebs@gslacrosse.org to participate as a youth or adult partner.
