Worship
Sunday, March 29 — Palm Sunday — We worship today with readings from Isaiah 50:4-9a , Psalm 31:9-16 , Philippians 2:5-11 , and Matthew 27:11-54. Harald Bringsjord will preach , with music led by Randy Lyden, Karl Greenfield, and Dave Osley. Communion will be served this Sunday. Worship is held at 8:30am (livestreamed) and 10:30am. Sunday School meets at 8:30am.
Sunday, April 5 — Easter Sunday — Next Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection with readings from Acts 10:34-43 , Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24 , Colossians 3:1-4 , and Matthew 28:1-10. Harald Bringsjord will preach. Communion will be served at 7:00am, 8:30am, and 10:30am worship services. There will be no Sunday School.
Gather & Celebrate
Easter Eggstavaganza: Join us this Sunday, March 29th, from 9:30 to 10:30am in the Mattes Center for an Easter egg hunt, games, crafts, and snacks.
Holy Week Services: Join us for a Seder Supper on Wednesday, April 1st at 6:00pm. Maundy Thursday (April 2nd) includes a 5:30pm Soup Supper and 6:30pm Worship. Good Friday (April 3rd) features a 6:30pm Tenebrae Service.
Easter Garden: Help decorate our altar by dropping off a labeled potted plant by noon on Good Friday. You may take your plant home after the 10:30am service on Easter Sunday.
Easter Breakfast: Join us Sunday, April 5th, beginning after the 7:00am service until 10:15am. A variety of items will be served and a free-will offering accepted.
Family Game Night: All ages are welcome Friday, April 10th, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the Mattes Center.
Bunco Night: Adults 18+ are invited Friday, April 17th at 6:00pm in the Mattes Center. Bring a $5 wrapped gift with an "Easter" theme.
Small Groups & Support
Good Shepherd Men’s Group: Meets Sundays at 6:30pm in the Mattes Center.
Lydia Circle: All women are invited for coffee, desserts, and conversation on Tuesday, April 7th at 1:00pm in the Choir Room.
Grief Support Group: Meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday; the next gathering is April 9th at 3:00pm.
Good Shepherd Women (WELCA): Next meeting is Thursday, April 9th at 6:00pm (In-person in the Quilting Room or via Zoom). Officers include President Lori Lowell and Vice President Sue Bugge.
Cancer Support Group: Offers a safe space for patients and caregivers on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00pm in the Mattes Center ; the next meeting is April 21st.

Sunday School Lenten Project: Today is the last day to donate food or change to the plinko board to help stock Spence’s food pantry.
Quilting for LWR: Join us Monday, April 13th, from 9:00am to 3:00pm in the quilting room.
Food For Schools Project: This month’s featured fund helps stock area school food banks.
Media Team: Volunteers are needed to run PowerPoint or cameras for Sunday services. No experience is necessary; contact Rick at Rick@gslacrosse.org.
Call Committee: The committee is gathering congregational input via surveys to complete the synod profile. Contact the office with questions.
Other Announcements
Scholarships: Applications for technical or 4-year undergraduate degrees are due by April 1st.
Sunday Fellowship: Enjoy coffee and fellowship in the welcome area following worship.
Office Hours: The church office is open 8:00am – 1:00pm, Monday through Friday.
