Worship Participation
Be a Part of Worship – Not Just a Spectator
At Good Shepherd, worship is something we do together. From greeting guests and guiding the flow of service to proclaiming Scripture, every role matters—and every voice is valued.
We invite you to take part in leading worship through two meaningful ways: ushering and reading. Whether you’re new or experienced, your presence helps make worship more welcoming, engaging, and Spirit-filled.
Ushering
Ushers are often the first friendly face someone sees when they walk through our doors. They welcome worshipers, hand out bulletins, assist with seating and offering, and help ensure each service flows smoothly. It’s a simple yet powerful way to serve with a smile.
Reading
Readers help bring God’s Word to life by sharing the Scripture readings during worship. Whether you feel confident speaking in front of others or want to grow in that skill, this is a beautiful way to lead with your voice
You’ll receive the reading by email one week before your scheduled Sunday, and a printed version will also be available in the sanctuary.
