What to Expect at Worship
At Good Shepherd, worship is the heart of our community life. From September through May, we offer two Sunday services at 8:30am and 10:30am. During the summer months of June through August, we gather for a single Sunday service at 9:30am. Each worship experience is rooted in grace, enriched by music, grounded in the Word, and strengthened by community.
Worship & Sunday School
From September through May, Sunday School is available during the 8:30am Sunday worship service for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Worship begins with children alongside their families; following the children’s message, they are invited to Sunday School. During the summer months, families remain together for the entire service.
Holy Communion
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of each month. All baptized Christians are welcome at the table to receive God’s gifts of bread and wine—signs of Christ’s presence and forgiveness. If you have questions about communion or would like to learn more, visit our page all about communion.
Welcoming Children
Children are a cherished part of our worship life.
Children’s messages are included in every Sunday worship service.
Soft toy and activity bags are available to help young ones feel at home.
Staffed childcare is offered as needed.
Watch the livestreamed worship service from the Nursery—a quiet, comfortable space available for families who need it during the service.
The “Gloria Dei” Youth Choir regularly blesses our worship with song and joy.
Who You’ll Meet
You’ll find a warm community of people seeking hope, meaning, and connection in today’s world. Whether you’re returning to faith or exploring it for the first time, there’s a place for you here.
A Sunday Welcome
Many describe Good Shepherd as gracious, kind, inclusive, and welcoming. If you’re new, here’s how we’ll help you feel at home:
Look for a staff member who can guide you or answer questions.
Our ushers, wearing “Usher” name tags, will greet you at the doors and provide a bulletin.
Visit the Welcome Area for newsletters, brochures, volunteer opportunities, and friendly conversation.
Accessibility & Parking
We want everyone to feel at ease:
Large-print bulletins and digital wireless listening devices are available—just ask an usher.
The entire church building is on one level for easy accessibility.
Parking is available on the north, south, and east sides of the church. Accessible parking is near the main sanctuary entrance.
