A Record-Breaking Holiday Marketplace Filled With Joy, Community, and Generosity

This past weekend, our Holiday Marketplace brought together the community for a day of festive cheer, creativity, and giving. What started as a simple idea to celebrate the season and support local vendors turned into an event that exceeded all expectations — our busiest and most successful yet.

Thanks to the incredible turnout and the enthusiastic support of the community, we raised nearly $4,000, a remarkable achievement that will go a long way toward supporting our cause. The marketplace was alive with energy, from the laughter of children exploring the holiday stalls to the joyful conversations among neighbors catching up over seasonal treats.

Sally Lindahl, one of our dedicated organizers and volunteers, captured the essence of the day in photos, documenting every corner of the bustling market and the smiles of everyone who attended. “I’m not a great photographer,” she modestly remarked, but her images tell a story of warmth, connection, and holiday spirit.

Events like this remind us of the power of community. The Holiday Marketplace was more than a fundraising event — it was a celebration of what we can achieve when we come together, share our talents, and support one another. From the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to the visitors who came with excitement and generosity, every participant played a part in making the day unforgettable.

As we look ahead, the success of this year’s Holiday Marketplace inspires us to dream even bigger for next year. With such incredible support and enthusiasm, there is no doubt that future events will continue to strengthen our community bonds and spread joy during the holiday season.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible — your energy, support, and generosity are the heart of the marketplace. We can’t wait to see you all again next year!
