About this Sunday:
The Sixth Sunday after Pentecost focuses on God’s prophets and messengers — those called to speak hard truths, bring hope, and illuminate the path forward. It highlights that a prophet is often without honor in their own hometown, yet God’s word cannot be silenced. We celebrate a God who calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things and invites us to be bold, faithful, and courageous in living and sharing the message of his love.
