About this Sunday:
The Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost focuses on the path of discipleship — following Jesus even when it means sacrifice. It highlights his invitation to “take up your cross” and follow him, choosing a life of service, humility, and love over the values of the world. We celebrate a God who walks this path alongside us, offering us his strength, peace, and hope as we learn to live not for ourselves, but for him and for one another.
