Worship
This Sunday (November 2) — We worship on All Saints Day with readings from Daniel 7:1–3, 15–18; Psalm 149; Ephesians 1:11–23; and Luke 6:20–31. Communion will be served at both services, and we will celebrate the baptism of Emersyn Kirsenlohr at the 8:30am service.
Next Sunday (November 9) — We worship with readings from Job 19:23–27a; Psalm 17:1–9; 2 Thessalonians 2:1–5, 13–17; and Luke 20:27–38. Communion will not be served at either service. We will celebrate the baptism of Henderson at the 10:30am service.
Gather & Celebrate
Burrito Breakfast — Sunday, November 2, between services, Mattes Center — Enjoy burritos with all the fixings (or on a plate) while supplies last. A free-will offering will be accepted.
Family Game Night — Friday, November 14, 6:00–9:00 pm, Choir Room — Bring your family and friends for an evening of fun, laughter, and games for all ages!
Holiday Marketplace — Saturday, November 15, 9:00 am–2:00 pm — Shop from 23 vendors with 35 tables, enjoy a pulled pork lunch for $7, and take home delicious Norwegian lefse. Bakers are needed—please sign up on the bulletin board and drop off donations November 13–14 (Noon–5 pm). Don't miss the signed Packers football raffle!
Book Signing with Mariah Forster Olson — Sunday, November 16, 2:00 pm, Welcome Area — Meet Good Shepherd member and author of Hope Over Despair – Childhood Cancer and the Lifelong Journey of Survivorship. A portion of sales supports The Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Society. More information at www.hopeoverdespair.com.
Bunco Night — Friday, November 21, 6:00 pm, Mattes Center — Join us for a fun evening of fellowship, laughter, and games! Bring a $5 wrapped "Thanksgiving"-themed gift and enjoy the company of others. Open to ages 18 and up.
Thanksgiving Eve Worship & Pie Social — Wednesday, November 26, 6:30 pm — Join us for a special service of gratitude and reflection, followed by a pie social hosted by Church Council. This service will not be livestreamed.

Lydia Circle — Tuesday, November 4, 1:00 pm, Quilt Room — All women are welcome for coffee, dessert, and conversation.

Grief Support Group — Thursday, November 13, 3:00 pm — Meets monthly on the second Thursday to share and find comfort together.
Cancer Support Group — Tuesday, November 18, 5:00 pm, Mattes Center — A supportive space for adult cancer patients and caregivers.
Good Shepherd Men's Group — Sundays, 6:30 pm, Mattes Center — Join for conversation, reflection, and fellowship. No registration required.
Get Involved & Support
Faith Webs Ministry — Sunday, November 2 — Sign up on All Saints Sunday to participate as a youth or adult partner. Build intergenerational connections while supporting youth attending camps, mission trips, or faith events.
WAFER Donation Collection — Sunday, November 9 and Sunday, November 16 — Offering basket available to collect funds for WAFER. If we collect $250, it will be matched with a $250 gift from Thrivent to help with hunger in the La Crosse area.
Toys For Tots — Donate a new toy to the barrel in the Welcome Area to help brighten Christmas for over 1,200 children in La Crosse County. Scan the QR code above the barrel to view the Amazon wish list. The barrel will be picked up December 5th.
General Fund — Support Good Shepherd's mission and ministry through in-person or online giving.
Food For Schools Project — Help stock local school food pantries. Write "Food For Schools" in the memo line of your check or give online.
Youth Group Scrip Program — Support our youth by purchasing Scrip cards (including Kwik Trip) in the Welcome Area or church office, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–1:00pm.
Church Directories & Photos Available
2025 Church Photos and Directories are available in the Welcome Area. If you purchased a directory or have not picked up your complimentary photo, they are ready for pickup. A limited number of directories are available for sale at $20.
Note: No Quilting for Lutheran World Relief in November or December. Quilting will resume January 12th, 2026, continuing on the second and fourth Mondays of each month from 9am to 3pm.
