Worship Schedule

• Sunday, August 23: Worship takes place at 9:30 am. Pastor Harald Bringsjord will be preaching. Music will be led by Randy Lyden, Karl Greenfield, and Dave Osley. Readings include Isaiah 51:1-6, Psalm 138, Romans 12:1-8, and Matthew 16:13-20. Communion will not be served this Sunday.

• Next Sunday, August 30: Worship begins at 9:30 am with Pastor Bringsjord preaching. Readings include Jeremiah 15:15-21, Psalm 26:1-8, Romans 12:9-21, and Matthew 16:21-28. Communion will not be served.

• Rally Sunday (Sept 13): Services will return to the normal times of 8:30 am and 10:30 am.

Gather & Celebrate

• Adult Reading Group: Read "Waking Up White" before the September 2 meeting, which runs from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Six copies are available in the office for 5 dollars each.

• Bunco Night: Join us September 18 at 6:00 pm in the Mattes Center. Bring a 5-dollar "Fall" themed gift for this event open to ages 18 and up.

• Family Game Night: Enjoy a mix of board and card games on September 11 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Mattes Center.

• Burrito Breakfast: Served between services on September 13 in the Mattes Center for a free-will offering.

Groups, Support & Involvement

• Meetings: Scouts Troop 22 and the Men's Group meet Sundays at 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm, respectively. WELCA meets September 3 at 6:00 pm in the Quilting Room or via Zoom.

• Support & Community: The Cancer Support Group will hold its next gathering on September 15 at 5:00 pm. Lydia Circle meets September 1 at 1:00 pm in the Quilt Room.

• Get Involved: Quilting meets August 24 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Media team volunteers are needed to run PowerPoint and cameras; please contact Rick if interested.

• Donations: Please support LWR kits, the General Fund, or Food For Schools. Stock and Crypto giving is now available via Vanco.

Announcements & Registration

• Sunday School & Confirmation: Sunday School begins September 13 during the 8:30 am service. Confirmation begins September 9 at 6:30 pm.

• Offering Update: July 2026 envelope offerings were 19,041.68 dollars, which is a -10.4% difference from July 2025. The YTD 2026 total is 154,670.26 dollars, reflecting a -19.0% difference from 2025.

• Flowers: Chancel and Pulpit flowers are currently not sponsored.

• Office Hours: The church office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
