A Season of Community, Faith, and New Beginnings During the Summer Months

Summer is in full swing at Good Shepherd, and with it comes a renewed sense of connection, service, and joy. As we continue our single 9:30 a.m. Sunday worship service through August, we’re embracing this season to gather as one united family—celebrating milestones, welcoming newcomers, and creating space for God’s presence in our lives.

In recent weeks, we’ve rejoiced in baptisms, sung together in full voice, and shared stories over coffee and fellowship. We’ve also welcomed fresh faces into our congregation—each one a reminder of the Spirit’s work in drawing us closer together.

Upcoming Highlights:

• National Night Out – August 5, 5:00pm -

  We’ll be celebrating alongside our local fire and police departments, with games, treats, and music. You don’t need to be a member to attend—this event is for the entire community!

• Rally Sunday – September 7, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  Join us for a morning of food and fellowship! Enjoy delicious burritos (including vegetarian options), activities for all ages, and warm conversation with neighbors new and old. All are welcome—bring a friend!

Worship and Service Opportunities:

As always, we invite you to participate in worship through music, greeting, communion preparation, and more. Whether you’re a lifelong member or just visiting, there’s a place for you here.
