Rally Sunday Recap: A Joyful Kick-off to the School Year!

Rally Sunday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on September 7 was a day full of laughter, community, and celebration! Families, kids, and friends came together to mark the start of a new season with energy and excitement.

The day began with the return to two worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., setting the tone for a meaningful morning of faith and fellowship. Afterward, everyone enjoyed a delicious burrito breakfast, fueling up for a morning of fun and activities.

Children eagerly participated in games and activities, and the inflatable castle was a highlight, with kids laughing and playing throughout the morning. Sunday School leaders were introduced to their groups, helping families feel connected and ready for a year of learning and growth in faith.

“It was such a joyful way to start the school year,” shared one parent. “Seeing the kids so excited and meeting the Sunday School leaders was wonderful.”
