Rummage Sale Returns July 18
Looking for a fun summer outing, unique treasures, homemade treats, and a great lunch all in one place? Mark your calendar for the upcoming Community Rummage Sale on Friday, July 18, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Mattes Center — rain or shine.
This cheerful annual event brings together local sellers, shoppers, and families for a day filled with bargains, conversation, and community spirit. Unlike a traditional “junk sale,” vendors rent tables to sell their own quality items and keep all proceeds from their sales. With many returning vendors from the popular Holiday Sale bringing overstock merchandise, shoppers can expect a wide variety of items and something for everyone.
Guests can also enjoy delicious food throughout the day. A pulled pork sandwich lunch will be available for $8 and includes a sandwich, chips, beverage, and dessert. A hot dog or chili dog plate special will also be offered for $5, including chips and a beverage. In addition, the church will have baked goods and handmade crafts available for purchase.
The event already has 15 vendor tables booked, with more expected in the coming weeks. Whether you come to shop, browse, enjoy lunch, or simply spend time with neighbors and friends, the Rummage Sale promises to be a happy and welcoming community event for all ages.
