Confirmation Students Complete Service Project Supporting Salvation Army Canteen

The Confirmation students have successfully completed their latest service project — helping fill the canteen window for The Salvation Army of La Crosse County. This meaningful effort brought students, families, and community members together in the spirit of service and compassion.

Thanks to the generous donations from congregation members and the support of Thrivent, who helped supply materials, the students were able to provide a variety of items to support local neighbors in need. Their contributions included nonperishable food items, sandwiches, brownies, and homemade trail mix, all of which were delivered to the Salvation Army to help restock their canteen.

The project served not only as a hands-on way for students to live out their faith, but also as a reminder of the power of community collaboration. Through their time and effort, the students learned the value of generosity and service — key lessons that extend far beyond the classroom.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who donated, participated, and encouraged the students in this project. Together, your support made a tangible difference in the lives of others in our community.
