Good Shepherd Votes to Call Pastor Joe Iverson

Good Shepherd is excited to welcome Pastor Joe Iverson as our new pastor! Pastor Joe has been serving at Zion Lutheran Church in Galesville, Wisconsin, and he and his wife, Brianna Iverson, are already familiar faces within our synod community. Brianna serves as an administrator in the La Crosse Area synod office, and together they are looking forward to making La Crosse their new home. Pastor Joe and Brianna will be relocating with their three children, and we are grateful for the opportunity to welcome them into the Good Shepherd family. We look forward to getting to know them and sharing in ministry together in the years ahead.

On September 27, Good Shepherd held a congregational meeting in which members voted to call Pastor Joe as our next pastor. The vote was 114 in favor, 1 opposed, and 2 abstentions. We give thanks to God for guiding our congregation throughout the call process and for the ministry that lies ahead. We look forward to welcoming Pastor Joe, Brianna, and their three children as they begin this new chapter with us at Good Shepherd!
