Get Ready for Changing Worship Schedule
For the past few months, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has enjoyed the relaxed rhythm of our summer worship schedule, gathering as a congregation at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. This single service has been a cherished time for many—bringing together familiar faces, offering a consistent moment of reflection, and allowing families and visitors alike to connect in a shared experience of worship.
As summer winds down, it’s time to prepare for the return of our two worship service schedule, beginning Sunday, September 7th. Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m (with the 8:30 a.m. worship service also livestreamed online)., giving our community greater flexibility to participate in worship in a way that fits their personal schedules. The earlier service offers a quiet, reflective start to the day, while the later service continues to provide a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.
Both schedules serve an important purpose: the summer schedule fosters unity and simplicity, while the two-service schedule accommodates growth, variety, and the diverse needs of our congregation. Whether you’ve cherished the single 9:30 a.m. service or are excited for the return of two options, each format reflects our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful worship experiences for all.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to two services on September 7th, and invite all members to find the time that best suits them.
Let’s continue to celebrate our faith together—no matter the hour!
