Worship
Sunday, January 18 — Second Sunday after Epiphany — We worship this Sunday on the Second Sunday after Epiphany with readings from Isaiah 49:1–7, Psalm 40:1–11, 1 Corinthians 1:1–9, and John 1:29–42. Pastor Harald Bringsjord will preach, with music led by Randy Lyden, Karl Greenfield, and Dave Osley. Communion will be served at both services. Worship will be held at 8:30 and 10:30 am, with the 8:30 am service livestreamed. Sunday School meets at 8:30 am.
Sunday, January 25 — Third Sunday after Epiphany — Next Sunday we continue the season of Epiphany with readings from Isaiah 9:1–4, Psalm 27:1, 4–9, 1 Corinthians 1:10–18, and Matthew 4:12–23. Pastor Harald Bringsjord will preach, with music led by Randy Lyden, Karl Greenfield, and Dave Osley. Communion will not be served this Sunday. Worship will be held at 8:30 and 10:30 am, with Sunday School at 8:30 am.

Bunco Night — Friday, February 20, 6:00 pm, Mattes Center — Adults 18+ are invited for an evening of Bunco, laughter, and fellowship. Please bring a $5 wrapped gift with a Valentine’s theme.
Family Game Night — Friday, February 13, 6:00–9:00 pm, Mattes Center — All ages are welcome for an evening of board games, card games, and fun together as a church community.
Burrito Breakfast — Sunday, February 1, between services, Mattes Center — Enjoy a burrito breakfast with all the fixings between worship services. A freewill offering will be accepted while supplies last.

Cancer Support Group — Tuesday, January 20, 5:00 pm, Mattes Center — A safe, confidential space for adult cancer patients and caregivers to share and support one another.
Grief Support Group — Thursday, February 12, 3:00 pm — A caring and understanding group offering comfort, listening, and community.
Good Shepherd Men’s Group — Sundays, 6:30 pm, Mattes Center — Open to all men for conversation, reflection, and fellowship.
Lydia Circle — Tuesday, February 3, 1:00 pm, Quilt Room — All women are invited for coffee, desserts, and friendly conversation.
Good Shepherd Women (WELCA) — Thursday, February 5, 6:00 pm — Join in person in the Quilting Room or via Zoom. Officer elections will be held. Contact the church office for the Zoom link.
Get Involved & Support
Quilting for Lutheran World Relief — Monday, January 26, 9:00 am–3:00 pm, Quilting Room — Help create quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Join for part or all of the day.
Food for Schools Project — Support local school food banks by donating online or by check (memo: “Food for Schools Project”).
Support the Youth Group — Purchase Scrip gift cards in the Welcome Area or church office. Kwik Trip cards are always available.
2026 Offering Envelopes — Available in the hallway near the church office. Contact the office if you would like envelopes but have not received them.
Reading & Ushering Sign-Up — Sign up online at gslacrosse.org/participate or in the Welcome Area to serve in worship.
Mobile Meals Volunteers Needed — Help serve neighbors by delivering Mobile Meals one day a week, one week a month.
Media Team Volunteers Needed — Help run PowerPoint or cameras during worship services. No experience required—training provided. Contact the church office for details.

Hospital Visits — If you are hospitalized and would like a pastoral visit, please contact the church office directly, as hospitals cannot release patient information without a name.
Sunday Fellowship — Join us for coffee and fellowship in the Welcome Area following worship.
Annual Congregational Meeting — Sunday, February 8, at noon in the Mattes Center. All active members are invited as we review 2025, elect council members, and vote on items for 2026, including the budget.
